Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – Ballet Palm Beach announces its summer programs, the addition of a new trainee program and its new name, Ballet Palm Beach Academy. Ballet Palm Beach Academy’s summer programs are offered June 20 – July 29, 2016 for ages three and older. The ballet school is also offering a new trainee program for the dancer who wishes to dance professionally. Auditions for the trainee program are at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10357 Ironwood Rd. in Palm Beach Gardens. After 23 years of training dancers under the name of The Esther Center, the school will now be known as Ballet Palm Beach Academy. The name change reflects the organizations growth and aligns with the professional company Ballet Palm Beach. For more information and registration forms visit www.balletpalmbeach.org or call 561.630.8235.

“Many young dancers possess the talent and desire to become professionals, but lack the intensity of training required.” says artistic director Colleen Smith. “Daily classes offering the highest level of curriculum, as well as real life rehearsal and stage experience will guide the young dancer’s technique and artistry. A traineeship with Ballet Palm Beach will afford the aspiring professional a drastic acceleration in training.”
